I just posted (under UK Newells / Bristol Tab) the results of my recent research on John Newall, merchant of Bristol, England who operated in Harbour Grace, Nfld. in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.   In this paper I speculate on a possible connection between this John Newall and John Noel of Brigus.
